85 days. The most popular red cabbage for storage. Perfect, globe-shaped heads measure 7 to 8-in. across, are solid and dense and weigh about 3 to 4-lbs. Deep purple-red color, inside and out. Can withstand close spacing so ideal for smaller gardens where space is at a premium. Slow to burst. The traditional variety for pickling or for slaw. Can be stored for several months.
